Via Hot Air discover that Barack Obama does not seem very clear the meaning of Memorial Day, the celebration that remembers and pays tribute to American soldiers killed in war and which always celebrated the last Monday 'in May (Tuesday, May 26).
Speaking yesterday from New Mexico Obama began his speech with these words "On this Memorial Day, Our nation honors as ITS unbroken line of fallen heroes - and I see many of Them in the audience here today - Our sense of patriotism is Particularly strong."

Il problema non e' tanto che Obama veda dei defunti tra il suo pubblico, piuttosto che per lui Memorial Day sia il giorno in cui onorare i veterani. Peccato che la festa in onore dei veterani sia un'altra. Si chiama Veterans Day e sara' celebrata il prossimo 11 novembre.
